Ballet has always been a huge part of my life.

 

After graduating from the Ballet School in Bytom and years of working in a ballet company, it remains my endless creative inspiration, not only visually. Both of these passions have accompanied me for years, interacting and intertwining, I often had my camera with me backstage or in the ballet hall.

 

After all, it is hard to imagine a more charming subject of photography than the slender and airy lines and shapes of dancers in motion.

 

Since I am a former ballet dancer myself, ballet and other stage artists are an absolutely unique subject of my photographs. I photograph performances, workshops and ballet groups, also amateur ones, or classes for adults - with my experience I help them build self-confidence and faith in their abilities.

 

When taking stage photographs, I try to break the austere, reportage style with my deep admiration for the effort of the artists' work, which in the end should always look light and effortless.
