The next following days, being encouraged by the fact that my Colleagues didn’t mind me doing photos, I was taking my camera to some rehearsals, and soon asked them to do also some portrait shoots, not only ballet related. That was quite an intensive time, when I would plan all the locations and outfits and be super excited about it.

One Saturday morning, I scheduled a photoshoot with my Colleague, Małgosia, we got up early in the morning and went to a location that I was looking at for a few days. Then, one of my favorites shots were created. Małgosia was a perfect model. As a ballet dancer herself, she found such ease with editorial posing and we were immediately on the same page! She had an absolute control over her body and could repeat one dynamic pose over and over again, so I could lead her with the slightest details, which she would improve straight away.

It was a gloomy, cold morning, with clouds making a perfect softbox over our heads. Małgosia was such a professional, she would go with very naked dress for about an hour and didn’t even show that she was cold! At least, I got her some hot tea with raspberry syrup.

As soon as I got home after a photoshoot, I took my SD card and made a backup not to loose anything by accident. Then I went through the photos and make the first selection. I selected 120 photos to edit! There were so many good ones, that I just could not resist. I was so happy, for the next days I did nothing but editing!
