I just experienced an extraordinary photoshoot with one of my colleagues from my recent workplace, when I was still dancing professionally in a ballet company. Kristina, because that’s her name, was recently touring for a few months straight through many European countries, with the Kiev Ballet Company, and when I’ve contacted her, she said she will be back in Cracow in a beginning of may. She seemed excited for the idea of the shoot, as I prepared and sent her a whole pdf document with all the informations: the locations, the outfits and propositions about the hair and make up. As I wanted this shoot to be very magazine worthy, I picked up really stunning locations in Cracow, one of which was in a middle of a Main Square. Ideally, to get the best shots without the tourists, we would have to be there, ready, at sunrise, but it would mean waking up at 4am and we gave up on that idea and decided to try anyway, wishing for some lucky shots anyway.

I could not have imagined a better Model and ballet dancer to do this shoot with me. Anything Kristina did, was so light, effortless and just on point! Anything I would ask her to do, even the hardest jumps or balance poses, she would, and not even once complain! As I was fully aware of what inhuman powers it costs body wise, I was of course making sure she stayed hydrated and we had a nice coffee break ofter shooting on a main square. After that, we drove to the last location, as I was keen to get also some modern and futuristic vibes with the architecture. We prepared two spectacular dresses and the results just blew my mind. With the ballet capabilities of Kristina, this shoot just could not go wrong. Right now I’m preparing a neat behind the scenes video, so stay tuned!
