We went to Crete for a weekend, to perform „Cinderella” in a Heraclion theatre.
We got to the hotel in the evening, right before the sunset, and I immediately ran to the roof and scouted Małgosia to take a photograph. I’ve never seen such a light before!! It was filtered through orange dust, so was really soft, and the shadows were blue. I was astonished.
Usually, when we went somewhere to perform, we would spend all the time at the theatre, not even seeing the place, but this one time it was different. The Sunday morning we had absolutely free, so we did little pool photoshoot (again, the morning light on that roof was just exceptional), I was using my 50mm 1.8 lens (it was small and convenient for a short travel). Water in the pool was reflecting the light beautifully, the faces In these portraits were lit from below almost as if I was using a reflector! And we had a lot of fun during taking them!
